Early Life & Background
Sourav grew up in a lower-middle-class family in Uttarakhand. His father was a carpenter, and work was never steady. So the family moved often, and Sourav changed schools several times. Part of his schooling happened in Hisar, Haryana.
Moving so much is hard for a child. It may explain why his videos always return to one thing: home.

Career Journey
Phase 1: The Sketch Artist (2017–2019)
Sourav uploaded his first video in July 2017. He drew with pencils and posted timelapses on Sourav Joshi Arts. Growth was slow. His idea was to draw people the country already loved, like cricketers and film stars. A few of those videos spread widely and gave him his first real push.
Phase 2: The Daily Vlogger (2019–2021)
He started Sourav Joshi Vlogs around 2019. Most sources say February 2019, though a few say 2018.
In 2020, during the lockdown, he promised one vlog every day for 365 days. Viewers got used to seeing him daily, and the channel exploded. By 2021, many outlets called him India’s top individual vlogger.
Phase 3: Family as the Cast (2022–2025)
His relatives became regular faces, much like characters in a TV serial. Subscribers kept climbing, reaching about 37.7 million by December 2025 and 39.5 million by March 2026. Some outlets say he is entering business and real estate. He has not shared details, so treat that as unconfirmed.
Phase 4: 2026 Updates
- April 2026: Crossed 40 million subscribers. He said the journey “feels unreal.”
- August 2026: Appeared on India’s Got Latent Season 2 (Bonus Episode 2) with Badshah, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Rajat Sood. Host Samay Raina joked about his marriage and his vlogs. The episode was first released to paid channel members.
- September 2026: Sourav said a group of men abused him and his family during a late-night drive in Haldwani on 30 September. He shared the incident in a vlog. Police are reportedly checking CCTV footage. The claims have not yet been proven by an investigation.
Major Achievements

Net Worth
Sourav has never shared his income. Every number online is an outside estimate.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Net worth | Roughly ₹25–60 crore (some sites go higher) |
| Monthly income | Estimates range from ₹20 lakh to ₹50 lakh, all sources |
| Main income | YouTube ads, brand integrations, Instagram promotions |
| Salary | Not applicable; self-employed |
| Charity | No verified public charity work |
Why do estimates differ so much? Ad income depends on where viewers live and what advertisers pay. Brand deals stay private. Read any single figure as a range, not a fact.
Car Collection
| Car | Approx. Price | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz G580 (electric G-Wagon) | About ₹3 crore | Reported |
| Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 | ₹70–83 lakh | Reported |
| Toyota Fortuner Legender | ₹50–65 lakh | Reported |
| Mahindra Thar | About ₹20 lakh | Reported |
| Porsche 718 | ₹1.2–1.6 crore | Owned earlier |
Prices are showroom estimates. Ownership comes from his vlogs and media reports.
House & Lifestyle
He lives in a custom-built home in Haldwani, reportedly since early 2026. Media mention a gaming room and a basement garage for his cars. Cost figures online are rumours, so none is given here.
His routine is simple: wake up, vlog, travel, repeat. He rarely posts anything that isn’t from his own day.
Relationships & Personal Life
For years, fans asked who he was dating. Earlier, a viral photo with another creator led to guesses, but he never confirmed a relationship.
On 18 November 2025, he introduced Avantika Bhatt on Instagram. They married in early December 2025 at a private resort in Rishikesh. He has called it an arranged marriage between families who already knew each other. Avantika is reportedly an astrologer’s daughter and is not a full-time creator.
Rumours, May 2026: Avantika stopped appearing in his vlogs, and fans guessed at a split. Sourav said he couldn’t share the reason yet. Neither has confirmed a separation, so it remains a rumour.
Safety: In September 2025, he reported a ₹5 crore extortion email sent in the name of the “Bhau Gang.” Security was increased afterwards.
Haldwani incident, September 2026: Sourav was travelling with Avantika and his two brothers when the incident took place. Reports say Avantika informed nearby police about the other car. Whether a written complaint was filed is unclear, as reports differ.

Why Sourav Joshi’s Vlogs Work: The “Daily Promise” Effect
Most creators sell excitement. Sourav sells reliability.
When you upload every day, people stop watching for the event. They watch for the habit. It works like morning tea: you don’t need it to be new, you need it to be there.
But this habit has a cost. A daily vlogger cannot keep anything private without people noticing. When Avantika briefly stopped appearing, fans noticed within days. His comedy-show appearance may be a step away from that pattern, since it showed a self-aware side that daily vlogs rarely allow.
